For a few weeks, The Jesus Man Weekly Encouragers will focus on random acts of kindness that we can do for others.
It always makes us feel good to have someone do something for us. When others do something for us, we tend to think about what we can do to pass a blessing along to someone else. Within the next week, as you are sharing a meal at a restaurant with your family or as you grab some fast food to take back to the office, look for an opportunity to buy someone’s meal. See the people within the restaurant as Jesus would see them and ask for God’s guidance in helping you choose who you will pass a blessing along to.
If you are ordering fast food, you might want to leave $10 with the cashier and ask the cashier to put the money toward the meal of the next person in line or if you are sitting down in a restaurant, you might want to ask the server who is serving a particular family to bring you the check for that family. Either way, try to perform your deed without letting the person/family know that you are the one providing a blessing for them.
May our efforts glorify God and bring hope to people who need a blessing!
Matthew 25.40, “40 The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
